Responsibilities

  • Support development of the corporate strategy:
  • Drive the Division Strategic Planning Process (annual and long-term planning)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business opportunities and develop capital investment proposals
  • Support key strategic priorities and projects
  • Provide thought leadership, problem solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis, workshop facilitation and recommendations
  • Lead or support cross-functional business leaders to develop new strategic initiatives and to prepare project plans to support implementation
  • Liaise with both corporate and in-field (stores) business partners to ensure effective communication and change management
  • Monitor the external environment, including macroeconomic trends, competitive activity, retail and customer trends
  • Develop executive materials and presentations (e.g. for presentation to the Board of Directors, or Executive Team)
  • Champion the customer as the starting place for all strategies
