What qualifications and experience are required for the Senior Wealth Advisor role?
To be considered for the Senior Wealth Advisor role, candidates should have 5-8 years of experience serving in a financial advisory capacity. Experience in a proactive, successful sales and service role in the financial services industry is also required. Additionally, candidates should have strong analytical and financial skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be organized with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in financial planning software is preferred, as well as a basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies. Candidates must also hold Securities Industry Essentials – SIE, Active Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses, as well as a Group 1 Insurance License.

The key responsibilities of a Senior Wealth Advisor include building relationships with new clients to bring in new bank and brokerage assets, deepening relationships with existing clients through financial planning and discovery skills, responding to referrals and introductions from business partners, making securities recommendations and providing investment advice, referring opportunities to segment partners when appropriate, acquiring new clients through converting referral leads, managing client follow-up and ensuring compliance with regulatory and compliance norms, and partnering with branch team roles to ensure a positive client experience. Additionally, Senior Wealth Advisors are expected to assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams, including coaching and training new recruits.
