Requirements

  • Service Design experience, evidenced through a portfolio, with a strong understanding of service design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Miro, Figma and Adobe Suite
  • Proficient in managing and facilitating stakeholder interactions to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Experience of project management skills to proactively drive projects and ensure services are designed for future growth and scalability
  • Strong experience in user research, journey mapping, service blueprints, prototyping and systems thinking
  • B2B experience, working in large and complex organisations
  • Experience in Agile and/or Lean methodologies
  • Advanced education and/or certifications in Service Design and/or human-centered design

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and run service design projects with a special focus on joining up teams and individuals to build collaborative practices and improve our BBC Studios Service
  • Engage and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including product managers, designers, developers, and business stakeholders, to align on the service's vision and deliver a consistent experience
  • Deliver high-quality design work and inspire stakeholders with evidence-based design
  • Help coordinate and facilitate multi-disciplinary workshops, design sprints and activities
  • Improve processes by identifying areas of opportunities to find efficiency and better ways of working together
  • Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative research, identifying pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Proactively drive projects where design, design thinking and service design would make a positive impact
  • Ensure services are designed to accommodate future growth
  • Collaborate with UX Designers, Developers and Product Managers to initiate and kick off discovery for projects you’ve identified
