What qualifications are required for the Service Technician position?
A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) is required.
Is specific brand experience necessary for the role?
No, specific brand experience is not needed as full manufacturer training is provided.
Will I receive training after being hired?
Yes, you can expect regular manufacturer-specific training to keep you up to date with the latest technology through both manufacturer training and our Marshall Academy.
What are the working hours for the position?
The position involves a 45-hour working week with weekends on a rota basis.
Is the ability to carry out MOTs required for the role?
The ability to carry out MOTs is desirable but not essential, as full training will be offered.

You will carry out servicing and maintenance of vehicles, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, complete electronic job cards, and support Apprentice Technicians as required.

Yes, being tech-savvy and confident in using iPad software is essential for this position.
