The Sessional Lecturer is expected to deliver 26 synchronous classes throughout the semester.
What is the class schedule for the course?
The course is offered on Mondays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m., consisting of two 75-minute lectures with a 15-minute break in between.
What qualifications are required for this position?
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate and/or PhD/doctorate degree in a relevant discipline, experience with marketing, superior communication skills, strong organizational skills, and recent teaching experience in a post-secondary environment is considered an asset.
Is a Teacher Assistant provided for this course?
A Teacher Assistant may be provided if requested and available.
What are the expectations for the Sessional Lecturer regarding student support?
The Sessional Lecturer is expected to provide regular support to students on course work as required, both before and after each class, during office hours, and as needed by students.
