Responsibilities

  • As the Site Security Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting all physical, electronic, and procedural security processes and programs at the Pfizer commercial locations. The incumbent will ensure the site is fully compliant with Pfizer’s Minimum-Security Requirements (MSR), and regulatory requirements as they relate to the security of people, facilities, product, materials, and Company reputation. This position is responsible for administrative oversight of the contracted Security Officer vendor, ensuring the vendor meets contractual requirements. Acts as the primary interface to local and regional law enforcement agencies, other regulated partners and protection of executives as requested by Global Security. Is the primary and responsible administrator for security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor and management. Conducts confidential investigations, interfacing with Pfizer Global Security on matters falling under the serious incident reporting guidelines. The position will take an active role in managing the security portions of capital projects.
