Requirements

  • People Management: experience in managing large teams working in complex programs within an enterprise environment

Responsibilities

  • Working with fellow Discipline Managers and Heads of Discipline to define engineering processes
  • Matching workload demand, workforce capacity, delivery milestones, and career growth
  • Defining organisational structure, in particular the shaping of teams and squads to maximise the delivery and learning effectiveness
  • Line management of Software Engineers including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, and training
  • Managing business processes across engineering, delivery, and country/group departments
  • Role modelling successful delivery and embedding agile ways of working, connecting squads with organisational objectives, to achieve alignment between our process and our overarching goals
