Responsibilities

  • Creates event flyers and other promotional materials to provide clear and accurate direction at the store level
  • Responds to emails and message enquiries from other departments to resolve issues or concerns in a prompt and effective manner
  • Creates and coordinates promotional events and liaises with Category Management to ensure promotional event transmissions are accurate and concise
  • Liaises with Category Management and Marketing Teams for Tier One Marketing Flyer events. Responds / resolves any issues / discrepancies throughout the planning process
  • Writes store communications to ensure all stores have accurate promotional event information and provides promotional direction
  • Provides weekly On-Call Coverage for any Flyer issues that arise on Saturday’s to stores/rest of the business
  • Work closely with Junior Promotions Coordinator to assign daily tasks / help manage workload
  • Approves and manages event cancelations, promo change forms (PCFs) including pricing changes, product substitutions, regional product changes and store order cancelations. Liaises with Supply Chain, Inventory, Category Management and Promotions Teams on respective changes
  • Provides weekly support to the Sr. Manager and Sr. Director in preparing/ updating financials and layout information for the weekly Ad Meetings
  • Support Category Management, Business Analytics, and the Promotions Team in maintaining / approving promotions in our Flyer Forecast Tool and Flyer Layout Tool
  • Support Manager, Promo Analytics with day to day P&L reporting, data gathering and cleaning
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting and data analysis with understanding of retail business processes and products
  • Create the master event package for vendors and the entire business
  • Maintains and updates new Capital Plan stores on all MOG inclusion lists and flyer event transmissions based on store criteria
  • Coordinates auto shipment order generations (MOGs) to ensure adequate product for promotions and identify any concerns to be resolved prior to promotional events
  • Maintains and updates databases to protect data integrity and ensure accurate and current information is available as required
  • Maintains spreadsheets and calendars and distributes to various departments to ensure accurate updates are exchanged including Flyer event codes, MOG schedules, Page Allocation updates
  • Maintains order exception lists and runs various reports to develop future promotional strategies and provide relevant data as required
  • Support all data extraction, management and integration initiatives
  • Assist with coaching new hires in Category Management / Promotions on various internal systems
  • Participate in special projects as required
