Responsibilities

  • Manage the technology applications related to Fraud Performance for TD from strategy to deliver end to end reporting solutions and partner with our business partner to support their data and analytics needs;
  • Leadership position responsible for managing a team of developers and business systems analysts
  • Owns the strategic direction for reporting as part of the larger North American Fraud Performance strategic roadmap;
  • Oversee and be accountable for the end-to-end delivery and operations of Fraud Performance technology solutions with a clear focus on strategic planning, client communication, resourcing, and financial costs on a long-term basis;
  • Accountable for end-to-end technology product roadmap and leadership for Fraud Performance, including design, development, testing & deployment and where possible, leveraging testing automation and continuous integration/deployment;
  • Ensure a full understanding of business requirements and apply knowledge to escalate/prioritize delivery of new and existing projects;
  • Accountable for alignment of technology solutions with TD technology strategies, and Financial Crimes, Payments, and Channels business strategies. (Target Operating Model Architecture end state);
  • Act as an integrator of solutions; understand industry fraud trends and Fraud target state capability to provide flexible next generation technology and delivery approaches and options to FC&FMG that balance effective fraud detection with service levels, cost, and risk;
  • Ensure ongoing focus on reusability, scalability, and enterprise-wide solutions, to maximize returns on Fraud Performance applications/systems suite;
  • Coordinate technology efforts across all CIO organizations, ITS, Architecture, OCISO, ED&A, and other delivery partners;
  • Ensure operational, reputational, and intellectual risks are understood, and provide advice towards minimizing risk and escalate where appropriate related to Fraud Detection technology;
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of the competition, customer / industry trends and technology innovation; identify opportunities for research and suggest solutions as appropriate;
  • Keep informed of technology solutions initiatives and IT direction across TD to provide strong support to FC&FMG and other partner businesses;
  • Ensure alignment of vendor technology roadmaps to TD technology strategy; and
  • Communicate business vision / goal and portfolio priorities to team members.
  • A leader with influence to promote and drive synergies and commons solutions in Enterprise Protect
  • Act as the "go-to" for your counterparts to provide secure, stable technology solutions to business problems and requirements;
  • Responsible for oversight and delivery of technology projects across the Fraud Performance practice;
  • Establish approach for technology deployment(s) and accountable to manage technology dependencies to align with the integrated plan and reduce risk of organizational constraints;
  • Works with business leaders to confirm solutions are functionally aligned to a fit-for-purpose product vision;
  • Partner with clients/ businesses in developing business cases, RFI/RFP, contracts, service level agreements, etc. consistent with business objectives and technology standards/architecture;
  • Oversee and support the demand management process from intake through final approval and initiation of delivery execution with respective management teams, business partners, and stakeholders; and
  • Track major project deliverables; communicate up-dates; support initiatives intended at reducing time-to-market and containing costs.
  • Monitor and manage capacity forecasting process compliance among Technology Delivery Leads and report on progress, status, and overall health of the portfolio and the individual applications;
  • Lead the development of total cost of ownership estimates for applications and services across the Fraud Performance practice, monitor and track to established plans in partnership with Finance and Business Management team;
  • Assess change requests and issues across the portfolio and identify key items for reporting;
  • Manage day to day vendor relationships and monitor progress against established work agreements;
  • Work with Technology Asset Owner team to define and manage end-to-end application and systems lifecycle management for each technology asset;
  • Grow The expertise of your team to align with demand and technology direction; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and enhance the value delivered;
  • Foster a culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork and a high level of professionalism;
