Responsibilities

  • Work on post-implementation compensation activities related to day-to-day operations, incident management, and enhancements.
  • Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks. Identifies key drivers of a defined problem and propose solutions.
  • Work on tactical configuration in the Workday cloud-based technology package
  • Understand and learn core processes of the business side of an organization and understand technology capabilities of underlying systems and look for ways to optimize business processes and functions.
  • Learn to bring effective application knowledge, project management, and delivery approaches to implementation and operations projects.
  • Gain experience configuring functionality to guide client conversations.
  • Define, build, and implement enhancements to HR processes and structure that will improve the HR function's Alignment to business objectives and ability to help drive business results.
  • Drive HR technology implementations through planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing, compensation processes, including salary, bonuses, short-term and long-term incentive programs, as well as understanding downstream implications for recruiting and payroll systems.
  • Core compensation knowledge such as grade and grade profile configuration, compensation business process design and configuration, job catalogue maintenance, compensation eligibility rules, compensation defaulting, compensation plan creation and maintenance also required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for business stakeholders, addressing questions and troubleshooting issue related to Core Compensation elements such as compensation package, plans, compensation basis, compensation elements, salary ranges, benchmark information, and external payroll earnings.
