Responsibilities

  • To work efficiently within the team and communicate with staff of all levels within the Sexual Health Directorate including Specialist Clinic Consultants and Nurse’s, patients who access Contraception and GUM services along with patients who self-refer / refer via GP via the telephone.
  • Responsible for day-to-day administration duties required for all aspects of the following Specialist services: Complex Contraception, Menopause, Psychosex, Vasectomy, and the unplanned Pregnancy Service.
  • Regular Housekeeping of Databases as instructed by performance manager, process self referrals, letters/prescriptions in line with department protocols.
