What is the working hours for the Staff Nurse position in the Emergency Department?

Will there be an adjustment to the full-time working week in the future?
Yes, NHS Scotland is reducing the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This will also apply pro rata for part-time staff.
What happens if my service area cannot adopt the new working hours immediately?
You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week temporarily, for which you will be paid until your service area changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
