The department prioritizes providing an exceptional patient experience by aiming to see patients within half an hour of their appointment times and communicates any delays to patients to help reduce their anxieties.
Will I be required to assist doctors with procedures?
Yes, you will assist doctors with minor operation procedures, clinical procedures, and support in clinics such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and cystoscopy.
How is confidentiality maintained in the Outpatient department?
All staff are required to maintain confidentiality regarding patients, families, and friends' information at all times.
Can I assist with training new staff?
Yes, staff nurses will have the opportunity to assist with the training and development of apprenticeship candidates and student nurses.
