What wards will the successful candidate be working in?
The successful candidate will be working in Ward F6, F2N, and the ERAS bay for Cardiac Surgery.
What is the bed capacity of Ward F6 and F2N?
Ward F6 has a capacity of 32 beds and Ward F2N has 16 beds, with an additional high care bay of 4 patients.
What types of surgeries will patients be undergoing in these wards?
Patients in these wards will be undergoing routine and complex cardiac and aortic surgery.
What is the purpose of the ERAS bay?
The ERAS bay is for fast track patients undergoing cardiac surgery, as part of phase 2 of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS-C) pathway.
What support will be provided to new hires upon joining?
New hires will receive full support in education, preceptorship, and mentorship.
What qualities are being sought in candidates for this position?

Yes, a flexible approach to shift patterns is essential, which may include night duties and weekends.
