What is the main purpose of this role?
The main purpose of this role is to support the Service Manager and Registered Managers in Quality Assurance, Standards development, and Regulatory compliance for Oxfordshire’s residential children’s provision and Young Persons Supported Accommodation Service (YPSA).
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates need to be an experienced Social Work Qualified Manager with significant specialist childcare experience, including at least 2 years of direct work with children within the last 5 years and at least 1 year’s supervisory experience. They should also hold a diploma level 5 in leadership and management in residential childcare or be willing to study towards it.
What kind of experience is preferred for applicants?
Applicants should have experience working in residential children’s provisions and demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation to lead and develop the progression across children’s homes and YPSA services.
