Responsibilities

  • Steer the company from global financial view
  • Designs and contributes to AzP planning process and support implementation of PD framework across AzP organization, engage with relevant stakeholders in AzP and AZ Group
  • Provides and analyzes AzP consolidated financial plan, including relevant alignment and granularity according to AzP Group, LoBs, Regions, BUs, Functions needs
  • Performs ongoing business driver plan vs actual analysis, productivity controlling (especially IT cost steering) and financial performance monitoring in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, thus ensures pro-active, forward looking controlling of Sub-Region/Regions/LoB performance
  • Handles and oversees monthly, quarterly and annual multidimensional closing and reporting process for AzP internal, manages deliverables on time and in quality, assures quality financial oversight as well as analysis deep-dives and deliveries for ad hoc requests
  • Contributes actively to strategic decision-making of AzP CFO and AzP Board of Management based on sound business and financial analysis
  • Contributes and lead preparation for BoM conversation, interactions with H5 (e.g. QBR, productivity
  • Transform the company and P&C function into a global organization:
  • Supports ongoing cross-functional (e.g. Finance, OM, Ops, CTO) and/or cross-OE (e.g. AzP, AZ Technology) projects with holistic financial know-how and consolidated view on relevant AzP financial KPIs, but also integration in overall planning process and framework
  • Enforces data availability and quality according to increasing customer demands (also outside Finance) with full leverage of enhanced technical solutions and automated tools
  • Contributes to cost and budget steering in alignment with global functional targets of P&C, thus keeps strong focus on increasing efficiency and productivity in all areas of responsibility including coordination of outsourcing activities
  • Participates in AzP projects and business cases, i.e. being a strategic partner to the business and supporting the decision making by financial analyses in defined business opportunities, thus setting harmonized standards for evaluation from an economic point of view
  • Leadership – global exposure to wide range of customers:
  • Acts with surpassing integrity along all dimensions of the Allianz People Attributes
  • Coordinate high-performing team of highly skilled financial specialists combining both functional expertise and strategic/business judgment
  • Provides guidance and communicates to a diverse and very international small group of people in the finance area
  • Manages regular exposure, communication and interaction with AzP CFO and AzP Board members, Regional MD, Finance Head of LoB, as well as to senior management executives in AZ Group next to daily interaction with head of SPC and frequent interaction with Global Head of P&C
  • Implements and ensures well-managed cross-functional collaboration within AzP organization, in particular with HR, CTO, COO, UW, Markets, Strategy, CEO & CFO Office
