Responsibilities

  • Support the development of robust supplier sourcing strategies for the business by engaging stakeholders across multiple functions to determine a best for business approach
  • Lead the Supply Chain elements of bids and tenders ensuring robust definition of requirements and supplier contractual terms in line with customer requirements
  • Effectively manage assigned contracts to ensure adherence to contractual obligations including schedule, cost, quality payments, claims, warranties, cash flow and flow down of contract amendments
  • Facilitate and maintain effective working relationship with the suppliers, engaging with key stakeholders across all Programs to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach
  • Responsible for the sourcing and contract management of subcontracts within a specific program including reporting on performance, risk, delivery and quality against set targets
  • Lead in presenting and engaging with the program management team/ Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other functional areas in relation to sub-contract/ supplier approval and performance issues
  • Taking ownership of building cross functional relationships with Project stakeholders to bring about timely decisions
  • Apply project management skillset to delivery of procurement projects, ensuring delivery on time and on budget
  • Maintain awareness of the external business environment consisting of but not limited to; economic, political and legal, demographic, social, competitive, global, and technological sectors
