Responsibilities

  • Supplier Qualification: Support the multi-functional supplier selection team & the Large Steel Fabrication Global Commodity Manager with quality data and conduct supplier capability, capacity, quality audit and supplier risk assessment.
  • Product and Process Qualification: Lead multi-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) according to applicable process descriptions and standards.
  • Supplier Quality Management & Monitoring: Implement Supplier Quality Management Process procedures, guidelines and tools. Coach supplier to follow Siemens Energy Quality Management Process and usage of related tools. Conduct regular Supplier Audits.
  • Supplier Improvement: Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measurements at the supplier. Track implementation and effectiveness of measures.
  • Design Review and Improvement (supplier early involvement): Support Global Supplier Quality team and be a local point of contact in improving large steel fabrication suppliers and supporting critical technical issues.
