Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for mathematical modelling of BASF supply chains to allow for scenario considerations of material flows / cost / profits / emissions in BASF supply networks on a mid-term to long-term planning level.
  • You will be jointly developing supply chain and network optimization solutions with strong focus on network design.
  • You will collaborate with operating divisions and central service units and facilitate the network optimization user community.
  • You will translate requirements of business functions like supply chain, marketing and production into supply chain and network optimization.
  • You will support internal business partners to estimate efforts for projects and provide user trainings about optimization solutions.
  • You will contribute to technology evaluations for adjusting solution architecture according to corporate platform decisions.
