  • Own RFI’s & RFQ's - ensuring all commercial and technical terms are agreed and documented
  • Ensure contracts are drafted, negotiated, and executed well with key supplier partners
  • Drive continual cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives through price negotiations
  • Cover all areas of component management including business plans, market intelligence, technology roadmaps, cost modeling, and sourcing strategies
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution, supplier scorecards, and periodic business reviews
  • Participate in DFM reviews, change control meetings, and other technical discussions with Engineering and SIE partners and drive decisions from a cost and supply perspective
  • Understand technical drawings and specifications as well as display module and component manufacturing process
