Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will join an established and experienced Logistics Operations - Supply Chain Operations Cell (SCOC) Team, they will be responsible for vetting, placing, and progressing high priority aircraft demands in support of aircraft of the the Wildcat Maritime Force (WMF) and 1 Regiment Army Air Corp based at RNAS Yeovilton, and those aircraft deployed either embarked on at Sea or at land-based locations worldwide.
  • They will facilitate effective communication between both MOD and external agencies including operating aircraft Squadrons, Force Headquarters elements, civilian contract partners, and responsible Platform or Commodity DT's.
  • They will process equipment demands using the MOD Logistics application "Management of Joint Deployed Inventory" (MJDI) system, effectively utilise Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel. and Outlook applications.
  • They will raise signals confirming receipt of equipment requests and advising of despatch and transit information with estimated delivery dates.
  • They will routinely compile statistical data based on demand satisfaction and participate in daily status briefings advising departmental senior management of ongoing issues and where appropriate proposed remedial actions.
