Responsibilities

  • Technological and methodical further development of suppliers for electric and mechanical components and assemblies with regard to process and product quality.
  • Support new supplier onboarding by ensuring a robust qualification process execution, both at company and product level.
  • Work with Eng department to identify the product CTQs and to assess the manufacturing process capabilities of the supplier Planning, Execution and Follow up.
  • Process Audits at main Suppliers Lead Supplier Quality Reviews to drive Continuous Improvement.
  • Own supplier results as measured by key metrics and identify area for improvements utilizing Supplier scorecards.
  • Manage supplier Nonconformities (containment action, corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis) and analyze periodically historical NC to drive improvement plan Support Supplier claim management process.
  • The role requires travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments and inspection of components and products.
