Requirements

  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • ASP.NET
  • C#
  • HTML
  • Understanding of the practical application of agile development methods
  • Understanding of CSS
  • Exposure to relational databases i.e. T-SQL or PL/SQL or MySQL
  • Exposure to Git or equivalent source control
  • Evidence of strong teamworking/communication skills in a diverse team
  • Desirables but not essential:
  • Android
  • Mobile Development
  • JavaScript (Any industry recognised library)
  • Person Specification:
  • Proven Software Development experience or a recent Graduate with an IT related degree
  • Willingness to learn; training is often provided by in-house experts on subjects aimed at increasing the candidate’s knowledgebase of not only programming practices and problem solving, but also business knowledge and valuable life skills.
  • Team working abilities with clear understanding of the importance of communication – we are not looking for another number but more so a valued consistently contributing member of the team.
  • Passion to add value, creative mind and self-sufficient to work with minimum supervision with a passion for learning.
  • Confident to communicate to all levels both orally and written.
  • Able to manage and prioritise more than one project at one time.
  • Ability to problem solve complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support as well as develop ‘in-house’ products to widelybenefit the business.
  • Contacting users (acting as a 3rd line support) to understand diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Expand your knowledge through in-house training and be expected to utilise your gained skilled to better the rest of the team alongside the products being worked on throughout the business.
