Responsibilities

  • Manage and report on the Sustainable Sourcing Pillar of Sustain
  • Manage and facilitate the Morrisons approach to engaging with key suppliers on Sustain
  • Deliver the 2025 Zero Deforestation commitment
  • Delivery of sustainable fisheries business plan including liaison with technical, commercial teams and manufacturing teams and NGO reporting
  • Management of the company commitment on water use as per Courtauld 2030
  • Review and update as required all sustainable sourcing policies
  • Management of the WRAP: water roadmap commitment
  • Participation in and communication with UK groups on soy and palm oil
  • Maintain awareness of peer group activity and industry trends to ensure Morrisons’ retains its position for sustainable sourcing and contribute to horizon scanning and stakeholder analysis
  • Manage and produce reports (internal and external) in line with relevant Sustain objectives and industry commitments
  • Research and preparation of business briefing documents, projects and reports on topics of corporate responsibility concern as required
