Responsibilities

  • Own OTS execution process and manage the development of hardware/software platforms for the simulator delivery.
  • Supporting CKOM & customer technical discussions to review contracts and technical specifications. Be able to present product offerings to customers.
  • Review & approve the OTS milestones & deliverables.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of new OTS features to enhance the product.
  • Identify, evaluate, introduce, real-time and expanded-time transient simulation models for GE gas turbine, steam turbine and/or combined cycle power generation equipment and carbon capture plants.
  • Deliver new modular simulation concepts for power plant auxiliary systems.
  • Drive Lean thinking to provide high fidelity, easy to use simulation capability for a broad range of power system applications.
  • Work with requisition and training teams to improve delivery quality to OTS team.
  • Leading NPI and/or Development projects or simulation studies with moderate risks. Explaining difficult or sensitive information; working to build consensus.
  • Develop work instructions or procedures to enable the contractors to execute and deliver the simulation platform to meet the customer needs.
  • Standardize MLI/BOM for product offerings and develop factory test procedures.
  • Support/Lead customer training simulator site acceptance testing at customer facility.
  • Own OTS PAC cases and drive them to resolution.
  • Drive ownership and incorporate lessons learned into the standard work strategies.
