  • We currently have a number of entry level opportunities across Engineering (Systems, Mechanical & Electronics). For this role, we are keen to hear from candidates who have recently graduated or maybe you have just started out in Systems and now looking for a new challenge in an exciting company where you can really develop and build a career.
  • The successful candidate will be a talented Junior Systems Engineer based in Reading with interest in IVVQ definition in the bid and concept stages, integration and verification of the system, coupled with a desire of delivering mission systems

Responsibilities

  • To create the technical specifications with acceptance criteria for subsystems,
  • To decompose requirements, ensuring that they have been partitioned and detailed to a level appropriate for the design to commence.
  • To ensure, with the support of Specialty Engineering experts & Safety/HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) stakeholders:
  • That candidate solutions meet regulatory requirements including all applicable standards and legislation. This includes product safety & security and Environmental/HSE requirements and standards
  • That solution designs take into account the contractual requirements
  • That all related certification activities are performed correctly
  • Development of design elements to meet the required performance within the overall system
  • Manage and be responsible for allocated work packages.
  • To define the integration, verification, validation, qualification, certification and acceptance methods and tools
  • Be responsible for collated results and evidence
