What age range will I be working with as a Teaching Assistant?
You will be working with groups of children aged between 1 and 11, covering Nursery, Early Years, and Year 6.
What qualifications do I need to apply for the Teaching Assistant position?
While holding Teaching Assistant Level 1, 2, or 3 qualifications is desirable, they are not essential.
Is previous experience required for this role?
Yes, prior experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity is preferred.
What are the working hours for this position?
The roles are within school hours, but they offer flexibility as they are on a supply basis.
Will I need a DBS check to work in this role?
Yes, you will need an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, which you can apply for through GSL Education if you don’t have one.
Are there opportunities for permanent positions?
Yes, there is an opportunity to transition into permanent positions.
What support can I expect if I apply for this role?
You will have a dedicated Account Manager who has strong relationships with schools in your area.
Is there a referral program available?
