Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree or higher, OR equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business Management, or closely related discipline.
  • - Human resources, employee relations, and/or investigations experience.
  • - Ability to manage multiple daily tasks and projects with minimal direction.
  • - Experience handling confidential matters and documentation.
  • - Experience managing conflict resolution.
  • - Experience coaching employees at all levels of the organization.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • - Ability and willingness to support rotating shifts of 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM and 4:45 PM to 1:00 AM.
  • - Bachelor’s Degree or higher specifically in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • - Manufacturing experience.
  • - Toyota Production System tools experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily investigations and corrective action situations:
  • Create corrective action documents.
  • Facilitate and/or support issuance of corrective action.
  • Make recommendations based on facts gathered, support peer reviews, and more.
  • Documentation of investigations (with legal concurrence of decision as needed).
  • Group Leader / Supervisor support and assistance for policy interpretation and team member relations management.
  • Prioritize projects and/or activities with the demands of the production floor as well as the administrative office personnel.
  • Manage local labor relations; team member morale, labor management systems (Shokuba Junkai).
  • Manage policies, policy adherence, and consistent application of policies.
  • Achieve 100% on compliance activities: attendance audits, ethics training, HR annual audit, compliance taskforce.
  • Support policy input and concern resolution management.
  • Executive round table forum facilitation.
  • Effective Daily Labor Management (EDLM); includes weekly/monthly reports, data gathering and analysis, trend analysis, and heat map tracking.
  • Responsible for team building activities.
  • Facilitate policy training in New Hire Orientation.
