Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to designing promotional strategy in line with the sales strategy. Each day, you will ensure the planning and timely execution of promotional activities with appropriate technical content for the assigned target audience. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Technical Design and Promotions team proactively and ensuring a high level of technical knowledge.
  • Creates and implements a long-term promotional strategy with technical promotional activities plan for a dedicated target group.
  • Aligns the promotional strategy and activities plan with the sales strategy and sales activities plan.
  • Ensures that the Promotions team supports the Sales organization by providing on-time and quality technical support and technical training to the target audience resulting in high customer satisfaction.
  • Creates business opportunities by providing support and fostering collaborations with key decision-makers, both within buying and non-buying segments.
  • Ensures efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.
  • Ensures that the Promotions team possesses the capability to establish and maintain effective, long-term relationships and ensures a positive customer target group experience throughout various promotional activities.
  • Provides support to customers, particularly consultants, engineering firms, and architect offices, in project development and technical problem-solving.
  • Defines Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establishes regular reports and statistics for promotional activities.
  • Reviews and analyzes performance against set standards and prepares improvement plans.
  • Ensures all staff (under scope) understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and act accordingly.
  • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
  • Ensures adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope.
  • Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
  • Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
  • Creates a vision of loyal, committed, and long-term customer relationships and implements the necessary action plan to achieve the same.
  • Supports the development of strong relationships with the key target audience and stakeholders.
