Responsibilities

  • Commissioning and Field Service (70%)
  • Ensure readiness for commissioning through the use of the Site Progress Summary and weekly customer contact.
  • Installation supervision, cold commissioning, hot commissioning, performance tests, customer training, weekly site reports, and commissioning sign-off documents.
  • Prepare as-commissioned drawings, visit reports, expense reports, follow up on action items, update system configuration files, host in-house commissioning review meetings, and provide customer feedback.

  • Support the Project Coordinator in pre-shipping activities: system testing, factory acceptance testing, customer training
  • Test new software releases
  • Update drawings, part lists, manuals, and training material
  • Design maintenance activities, create Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
  • Participate in assignments related to new product development
  • Provide support to the project team as required
  • Provide technical support to the sales team on product applications
  • Provide technical support to the production department
  • Validate new product versions
  • Day to Day:
  • Support customer-raised issues about their products via email or by phone
  • Test equipment, products, and systems before shipping to customers
  • Perform integration and documentation for equipment shipped from the factory
  • Support R&D and software groups on development work, including customer feedback and testing in the lab
  • Update or author test plans for products produced
  • Prepare for field service trips, including reviewing drawings and special equipment, and liaising with customers to ensure smooth operations
  • Post-trip reporting and debriefing to identify lessons learned
  • Out of Office:
  • Install equipment, supervise installation, commission, tune, connect, and calibrate equipment
  • Perform on-site adjustments and fine-tuning to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Train on-site staff
  • Provide occasional customer support
