Requirements

  • Advanced Google Standard SQL and MySQL or similar relational database language
  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery or other data warehouse solution
  • Experience with Tableau; creating & managing data sources and converting complex insights into a digestible format
  • Experience using Python to aid in data analysis
  • Knowledge and experience of measuring A/B testing and applying statistical rigour when analysing performance
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning and MLOps
  • A strong ability to communicate findings to stakeholders in a concise and engaging manner
  • Able to succeed in a high-performance environment where multiple projects are run in parallel
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to forge strong cross-functional relationships
  • Eagerness to learn & develop new skills

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the data science team, both helping to formulate new ideas and features within existing models as well as facilitating and reporting on experiments involving our models
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests related to our machine learning models and other products, quantifying the uplift and benefit of these changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, our Data Science, Sales and Engineering teams to identify key priorities, coordinate timelines, track progress, and identify potential issues
  • Proactively seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the product development lifecycle
