Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing Sales & Marketing Plans to achieve optimum sales and profitability within the guidelines set by Management.
  • Responding to enquiries regarding Bard products and related services, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service delivery.
  • Managing relationships with key opinion leaders, thought leaders and Key Accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the medical industry, market trends, new products and competitors’ activities.
  • Conducting clinical presentations at hospitals and attendance at relevant conferences as directed by Management.
  • Coordinating activities between Field Sales Personnel and Sales Administration, e.g., new account development, pricing, order processing and shipping, collection of data and analysis relating to territory performance.
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases and account records.
  • Complying with all relevant State and Federal Legislation, Codes of Practice and Bard Policies and Procedures.
  • Adherence to the Bard Code of Conduct and compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice relating to this position.
  • Reporting back to management team with regard to local market intelligence including competitive activity, product trends and unmet patient needs.
  • Ensure all actions are undertaken in accordance with Bard’s policies and procedures.
