Responsibilities

  • Defines together with Chapters, competences and best practices across all the organization’s areas: testing tools, frameworks and practices.
  • Owns the complete picture of competences, distribution and demand within the organization in his/her specific expertise.
  • Ensures that Chapter Leads within the organization are properly equipped to ensure that skills development happen within their chapters.
  • Ensures that chapter members contribute to the organization sharing knowledge across different areas.
  • As leader of leaders, must ensure that company’s strategy and vision are spread across all chapters.
  • Ensures that chapter activities that are relevant for the organization are properly managed to get done in time and manner.
  • Lead and boost the importance of improve the productivity in the way we develop software, pushing for the use of any tool or practices that might increase to produce more with less cost.
  • Maintain the big picture of testing chapter’s members allocation and demand.
  • Ensure that best testing practices are spread across the organization.
  • Gather information about company’s products and ensure that Chapter Leads are equipped to prepare chapter’s members to use those products.
  • Creates or foster creation of technical contents for internal and external use.
  • Foster a culture of testing automation and engineering culture based on Tech Manifesto principles.
  • Create forums, communities and events that ensures alignment and reinforce the culture of engineering and innovation within the company.
  • Acts as a senior Testing Automation Engineer by delivering high quality results in your chapters and providing technical guidance to the rest of Testing Chapters.
  • Designs, implements, and maintains testing automation scripts and tools to ensure best testing practices are implemented in the organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
  • Fosters testing automation discipline and standards.
  • Masters TDD/BDD, Contract Testing, etc.
  • Has proficient knowledge on testing frameworks: selenium, postman/bruno, karate/playwright/cypress, cucumber, Junit, Serenity, Jasmine etc.
