  • The post holders will be responsible for assisting the Stores Supervisor in the acquisition of goods and services for all theatre areas.
  • To assist in maintaining an efficient stock control system to ensure the continuity of service.
  • To take part in the continuous monitoring and recording of all inventory related processes.
  • To be responsible for ordering through the Purchasing / Stock Management systems and rotating adequate supplies of stock in the theatre complex, with reference to expiry dates.
  • Inputting goods received on to the Purchasing / Stock management systems, and chasing outstanding deliveries.
  • To monitor stock levels in line with fluctuations in usage, using any existing stock control system, informing the stores supervisor of any shortages and recommending changes.
  • To provide a support service to the Theatres department for the acquisition of goods and services including hired implants and equipment.
