  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-motivated Biomedical Scientist/Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join the Microbiology team at Path Links, Scunthorpe General Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • You will work as part of the Microbiology team to provide a high-quality service while adhering to the Trust values of Compassion, Honesty, Respect and Teamwork.
  • The post holder will work as a Biomedical Scientist performing a range of microbiological techniques to assist in the clinical diagnosis of microbiological disease.
  • They will rotate through all sections of Microbiology and Serology.
  • Following training, the post holder will be expected to participate in the 24/7 shift rota which will include working weekends, bank holidays and night shifts.
  • You will assist the Deputy Laboratory Managers with tasks such as supervision, training and maintaining UKAS accreditation.
