Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will own a portfolio of training courses and demo systems related to automation products within Process Control Platform (PCP) unit on a global scale.
  • You will be part of an exciting journey, contributing to our Automation Vision strategy, which aims to transform our Distributed Control System (DCS) products by integrating new technologies and capabilities.
  • This transformation necessitates the evolution of our training and demo offerings into modern, digital learning and demonstration tools.
  • You will work within a global product sales enablement team, collaborating with various functions such as product management, product marketing, R&D, and other experts to design and develop accurate and engaging product training and demo tools.
  • Your expertise in automation products and the learning and development field is crucial to creating effective and valuable training and demo materials for our users.
  • Owning a portfolio of training courses related to PCP automation products, including Instructor-Led training (classroom or virtual), eLearning and webinar.
  • Owning a portfolio of demo systems including hardware kits and software applications running on the cloud, with the objective to demonstrate the value proposition and functionalities of our PCP automation products.
  • Working internally with product management and marketing management to identify training and demo requirements and translating them into training and demo plans.
  • Leading the design of new/updated training courses, collaborating with subject matter experts and applying instructional design principles.
  • Defining user stories and demo scenarios, to demonstrate product value propositions and functionalities, collaborating with Product Marketing and Product Management.
  • Supervising the implementation of training and demo plans, solving problems that may arise and eventually ensuring on time and on quality releases.
  • Leading training and demo portfolio life cycle management, making decisions on portfolio obsolescence based on product evolution and other metrics.
  • Informing/presenting to all relevant stakeholders the release of new training programs and new demo artifacts, maintaining updated relevant web pages and other internal repositories.
  • When applicable, taking an active part in training and demo development and performing technical reviews of drafts and prototypes developed by others.
