Responsibilities

  • Conducts staff training and ensures users are proficient in EPIC and other software programs applicable to their role.
  • Provides educational materials to leadership and management to assist in the training of their staff.
  • Formulates teaching objectives in conformance with selected instructional methods such as individual coaching, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Assists in the creation and updating of training materials, manuals, handouts, tip sheets, videos and voiceovers.
  • Identifies and assesses employee skill level and training needs.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of training programs and provides meaningful feedback to curriculum developers and managers.
  • Focuses efforts on aligning with the School of Dentistry’s core mission to educate excellent dentists, lead oral health discovery and innovation, and make a meaningful impact on the health of the underserved throughout the state of Utah.
