  • In Financial Advisory, we look for people who are curious and eager to learn. Someone who is not afraid to ask questions, loves solving problems and willing to get involved.
  • You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in an undergraduate degree and have graduated by September 2024 for the Autumn 2024 intake.

Responsibilities

  • What kind of work will I do?:
  • As a member of the Transaction Services – Post Merger Integration team, you will work directly with clients to help them deliver their business objectives, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions and other performance improvement objectives.  
  • Your role will allow you to work across a number of sectors, with professionals from across the transactions spectrum, as well as the rest of the Deloitte business. You’ll gain experience across our multiple teams, allowing you to develop an in-depth insight into the whole deal life cycle, covering all sorts of different aspects from pre- to post-deal. It is likely that you’ll gain experience through multiple lenses, including technology, commercials, operations, and financials.
  • We have three teams that sit within PMI; Integrations and Separations (I&S), M&A Operations and M&A Technology. Your role in the programme will give you the opportunity to experience all types of work that we do within these teams, including:
  • I&S – help the client plan for Day 1, assist in the execution of the deal and continue to drive value to day 100 and beyond
  • M&A Operations – synergy assessments, operational due diligence, deal structure, organisation structuring, working capital
  • M&A Technology – due diligence specifically on technology / IT functions, application stacks, cyber
