Responsibilities

  • 1. StartDate: 8/26/2024 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1949.75 - $2549.67
  • 2. Number of Beds: 28/29 beds; 10 semi-private rooms and 9 private room General Medical-Surgical/ Renal/Pulmonary patient population
  • 3. E5 is a 24-hour unit where various medicine patients are being served including post-surgical procedure are seen which include but are not limited to: ENT, Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, GYN, GYN Oncology, Urology, Pulmonary, Renal, and General Surgery.
  • 4. E5 is one of the adult in-patient units where patients’ on CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis) are specifically placed.
  • 5. E5 is also the designated unit where adult CF (Cystic Fibrosis) patients are placed and trained to care for CF patients’ transitioning from Pediatric Department, Pre-Lung Transplant and Post Lung Transplant.
  • 6. E5 is also the only (sole) unit who takes care of Adult Eating Disorder (not limited to Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, Binge Eating Disorder, and other specified feeding and eating disorder).
  • 7. Staff are trained from transitioning patients from pediatric world to adult world, to training and re-training patients to transition effectively back to the community.
