Responsibilities

  • - Work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country
  • - Provide tax planning and advice to clients, including major multinational corporations, large privately-owned businesses, financial institutions, exempt organizations, and private individuals
  • - Develop practical legal services to meet the challenges faced by clients
  • - Offer U.S., cross-border, and state and local tax advice in connection with domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
  • - Provide tax services for global business structures, capital markets, fund formation, real estate investment/financing, finance and financial instruments, and dispute resolution and litigation
  • - Counsel senior management and business owners on tax issues regarding personal income, estate, gift, and wealth transfer matters

  • - Partner with the firm’s Government Law and Policy Practice to help clients achieve results in the legislature
