Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations by staying up to date with changes, advising management on necessary actions, and working closely with labor unions on compliance matters.
  • Provide guidance on contract labor agreements by advising during negotiations on HR-related issues. Participate in union negotiations to stay informed of any changes that may impact the workforce and ensure that the HR team understands and supports compliance with these agreements.
  • Resolve labor issues in collaboration with Labor Relations and relevant departments, focusing on equitable solutions and fostering workplace equality.
  • Assist with employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies across the organization.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations, following established protocols and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related topics and empower the HR team to deliver consistent, quality support across departments.
