Responsibilities

  • Providing end-to-end company secretarial services across the UK group structure ensuring these are best in class and fully integrated into the Firm’s operations with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Working closely with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
  • Overseeing the maintenance of statutory records, registers and filings for UK group entities using Diligent Entities, ensuring that filing deadlines are met and that documents are issued for approval in good time
  • Advising the members of Deloitte LLP and directors of the UK group subsidiaries on their statutory responsibilities and corporate governance issues
  • Supporting the Senior Corporate Governance Legal Counsel with a range of corporate governance matters including advising on best practice and ad hoc compliance projects
  • Working closely with the UK OGC Corporate legal team and supporting on UK group structure changes, as well as corporate simplification
  • Supervising and supporting the Assistant Company Secretary
  • Staying up to date with relevant legislation and advising stakeholders on such matters
  • Horizon scanning and supporting the Senior Corporate Governance Legal Counsel to project manage the implementation of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements
  • Developing knowledge of and advising on best practices
