Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis and Evaluation: conduct comprehensive assessments of underwriting processes across various countries and lines of business, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, deviations from standard processes, and areas for improvement.
  • Standardization and Best Practices: develop and implement standardized procedures and workflows to ensure consistent and efficient underwriting operations across all countries and lines of business at the Underwriting Center.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics related to underwriting processes. Provide actionable insights to stakeholders for process improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with underwriting, operations, IT teams across different countries to ensure alignment of processes and procedures. Foster strong relationships with regional stakeholders to facilitate change management and process harmonization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes and eliminate waste. Track and monitor the impact of process changes on overall underwriting efficiency and quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting: create detailed process maps, workflows, and documentation to support standardization efforts. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on key findings and improvement initiatives.
