Responsibilities

  • You will lead a team of UX designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them deliver high-quality designs.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and UX Managers to make sure the roadmaps are feasible from a UXD Point of view.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work, supporting the squad in maintaining an agile workflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX Writers, UX Researchers, product managers, product analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders, to define and understand user requirements and business goals.
  • Work closely with the Lead UX Researcher, making sure UX Design and UX Researcher are partners along the way.
  • Support UX Researchers with usability testing, and other UX activities to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
  • Design and iterate on user interfaces that are visually appealing, functional, and usable across different devices and platforms.
  • Work closely with our UXOps team to develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and coherence in our products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the user experience of our products.
  • Champion user-centric design principles throughout the organisation and advocate for the needs and preferences of our users.
