Responsibilities

  • Supervise Warehouse staff
  • Coordinates and oversees the cycle counting of inventory
  • Ensures the processes are followed for accurate receipt of all arriving goods
  • Compiles reports and reviews inventory, dead stock, goods age, consumption
  • Audit’s physical locations and conditions of commodities stored
  • Maintains housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area
  • Assesses the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to commodities arrival
  • Works closely with Director, Warehouse Operations to assure materials are received and inventoried in a timely, orderly and cost-effective manner
  • Supervises the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure timely and accurate delivery and receipt of materials/product and accurate completion of Bill of Ladings and sign off of packing lists
  • Communicates proactively with the Director, Manufacturing and Director, Warehouse Operations on materials issues that may impact the Facilities’ ability to meet shipping schedules
  • Establishes proper stock levels to meet desired customer service needs and company policies
  • Supervises transactions related to materials availability and open order accuracy
