What is the role of a Wind Energy Yield Analyst at SSE?
The Wind Energy Yield Analyst is responsible for delivering wind data analysis and energy yield modeling to inform design and financial investment decisions for onshore wind farm projects throughout their development, construction, and operational phases.

What experience is preferred for this role?
Preferred experience includes data processing and analysis, knowledge of industry-standard wind analysis software such as Windographer and WindFarmer, and ideally, skills in CFD wind flow modeling, programming in Matlab and/or Python, and wind farm operational data analysis.
What is the expected salary range for this position?
The salary ranges from £40,600 to £61,000 in the UK or €56,500 to €84,700 in Ireland, depending on the base country, skills, and experience.
Where is the location for this role?
The base location is flexible, with a preference for candidates to be based in key sites in the UK or Ireland, including Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast, or Dublin.
