Responsibilities

  • As a Workforce Development Manager for our Baltimore, Maryland (MD) market, you will develop and grow internal and external market relationships to deploy programs for the enhancement of workforce pipelines for critical roles. Program will include K-12 partnerships, high school employment, apprenticeships, and other high-demand/low-supply roles critical to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the communities we serve. Please note this will be a home based position with local market travel to schools, workforce commissions, etc for local programs & implementation is required. Other responsibilities will include:
  • Direct oversight and/or collaboration of all local workforce development programs.
  • Partner with market HR Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition, and leader stakeholders to identify workforce development needs and continuous evaluation of existing programs.
  • Act as an intermediary between the local markets and local chambers of commerce/economic development, community organizations, workforce development agencies and training providers, and other organizations to promote and create pipelines and collaborative programs.
  • Identify and assist with grant requests and other funding opportunities with local, state, or national agencies to enhance program development.
  • Establish and coordinates career exploration, experience and education initiatives to include apprenticeship, internship, job shadowing, work-based learning, sponsorships, and short-term training programs for students and community programs.
  • Create presentations for students, administrators, community partners, internal constituencies and other stakeholders as necessary. Provide program outcomes and summary reports using data and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to make decisions.
