As a state-school student at LSE, do you feel a sense of imposter syndrome? Or, perhaps, are you interested in social mobility more generally? Did you mistakenly think that you would never have to worry about your future again just by getting into LSE? You are not alone. The 93% Club at LSE is within the network of a nationwide foundation aimed at levelling the playing field, by empowering state-school students personally, and also with the skills needed to succeed in the professional world. As 93% of the UK population attended state-schools, we are determined to represent these students, who only account for around 68% of the LSE population.Working closely at LSE and nationally with the Foundation, we hope to improve the student experience. We regularly host panel events with employees from top firms and help you to understand all there is to know about the world of professional work, all in a friendly, inclusive and non-judgemental network of supportive individuals that want to see *you* succeed.Not only do we help you with the professional side of things, we are determined to make an inclusive community, a space to socialise and meet your fellow peers. We plan to set up wellbieing events to help overcome this imposter syndrome, hold regular social events to make friends and provide a platform for your voice.We want to stress that **EVERYONE IS WELCOME** (state-school or private school educated) and in our aim to always improve, we are fully responsive to what our most valuable resource - our members- want to see and gain from the club.For more information on the national side, check out the 93% club website.
