Afghan Brunel University London’s Afghan society aims to bring people together to celebrate Afghan culture! We also aim to raise money for charitable causes that aid those The Afghan society is a society for all, to come together and celebrate Afghanistan through its traditional dances, arts and music. We strive to create a positive image of Afghanistan that contrasts that in the mass media. We will hold a variety of events which will suit the Afghan culture and traditions, celebrating Afghanistan's rich history of art, to the big Afghan new year - Nowruz! In the past we have raised thousands of pounds for charity. We will continue to raise money for charitable causes with your help. Anyone can join this society, whether you are Afghan or not, you are all welcome. By joining this society you allow yourself to be part of a community that’s values consist of Hospitality, Love , Tolerance, Peace and Unity.
