The ATAL (Alan Turing and ADA Lovelace) is a computing society that is created to give students the opportunity to work on computing projects this can be from website and apps to many more types of projects. This is to provide students a way to showcase what they have learnt from their courses and give them some opportunities and experience working as a team in projects. We also have competed and won two competitions in the past three years, these have been done with android applications. We are welcoming anyone that is interested in learning programming and will provide additional lessons, so they are able to learn. Some groups may have additional roles to others, so make sure you check them out!CHAIRPERSON - click hereThis role is new and includes elements of the President and Vice-Presidents roles. It’s been designed to incorporate some of the administration and face-to-face elements that go into running a society. This person will act as the face of the society and will lead by example!GROUP ADMINISTRATOR - click hereThis role is a new role created to reduce the demand on the President and add value to the treasurer role, therefore, it includes elements of the Treasurer roles.
